-The wisdom of the Kabbalists was not developed by man it originated from divine revelations, they knew the true reality of the world.
-The Zohar states explicitly (Vayikrah page 10) "The earth is a sphere which revolves on its axis".
-In the book of Rav Hamnunah the Elder he explains further "All civilized places revolves in a circle like a ball, there are places on bottom [of the sphere] and there are those on top. It comes out that there are places in civilization that when it is light for them it is dark for others. For these it is day and for these it is night etc... This mystery was given over to the maters of wisdom".
