Regarding Haman’s choosing of Adar.

- Haman, descending form the tribe of Amalek was a master of the dark arts. He was well versed in the wisdom of the constellations and their effect of auspicious times.
- Haman realized that he had the power to fight Yisroel, since he was coming from the side of Amalek. However in order to be successful he had to reveal the time when they were in their weakest state.
- As the Talmud tells us he set his lottery aimed at Adar, since that was the month that Moshe died.
- Part of his calculations were as follow. Haman realized that he would have to weaken the rule of the Sitra Dkedusha (side of holiness) in the physical world of Asiya. He therefore tried transforming himself into a deity. By having people worshiping him he was able to gather all their energy becoming a medium for the powers.
- However, Yisroel always had the power to show the full unity of Hashem in the world . The power to combat the rule to strange Gods.
- The person who mastered this was Moshe that is why he was the one to destroy Egypt, the center of Idol worship. That is why he was the one to receive the Torah, for through the Torah the worship of strange Gods is eradicated. Moshe was so powerful, that he was even able to combat this after his death. That is why he was buried facing the Temple of Peor.
- Haman thought that Moshe was the only person capable of fully combating this issue, and he was no longer around. Also since he died during Adar, the time must be strongly in favor of what he was attempting to do.
- However Haman was mistaken, for Mordachi in combination with Ester had the power to destroy Haman as a Deity. They were to a certain level, able to do what Moshe did in this area. That is why the Jews reaccepted the Torah at that time.
- When Haman later realized that they did have the power to combat him, he tried fighting it . Mordachi and Ester were using the power of spreading faith (Emunah) in Yisroel through the unifying of the Seferos. Which is the showing of the solitaire rulership of Hashem, which is done through the fifty days of Sefirat Haomer. Haman had this in mind as part of his calculations when making the hanging tree fifty Amos (cubits ) high. This is also why Mordachi was busy with the study of the barley offering, the Mincha brought for the counting of the Omer. Haman at the beginning of his fall came and found Mordachi teaching the laws of the Omer to the children. He then realized that they had the power to destroy him through this. He still tried combating this, but he lost. May so happen to all the enemies of Yisroel.
