- A person who is to busy with the low pleasures
of this world to think about life, is not an apostate he is simply lost.
- An apostate is some one who has concluded according to his calculations
that there is no G-D. This person could have also come to some warped
version that is far from the truth.
- There are two types Apostates.
- The first type of Apostate results from a persons involvement in the
outside wisdoms.
- The outside wisdoms are wisdoms, however they are only leftovers from
the true wisdom, the Torah. These wisdoms originate form the breaking
of the vessels which spread sparks of holiness into the klipas.
- One who has fallen into this type of apostey still has a chance to be
saved. Since there are sparks of holiness spread through out these wisdoms
it is possible he will find G-d there and eventually climb out.
- An example of this would be someone who has become so busy with science
that he makes many calculations concluding that there is no G-D. However
it is possible that he might stumble upon a scientific fact that showed
the exsistence of G-D. He might then start recalculation his opinions
and come to a true conclusion. Meaning, since he is dealing with logic
he can always go over his calculations.
- It is therefore possible for some one to argue with him. Then using
his own arguments against him he can be proven wrong.
- The second type of apostate is the one that results from philosophy.
There are a number of philosophical questions that have no answers. They
belong to the wisdoms that are too deep for the human mind to fathom.
They float at the edge of the consciousness making the mind think it has
some grasp on it. These questions originate from the hallow vacated space
G-D used to create the world when he “contracted” himself.
- There are no sparks of holiness in these places and the mind has no
grasp on it at all. A person convinces himself that he has grasped some
of it. However since there is no logic only a feeling, it is impossible
to pin him down. This person has no solution of ever logically working
his way out of it.
- The only way such a person to get out of this situation, is to change
to a path of pure faith without any wisdoms.
